Digital Marketing & Communications Manager

Introduction

We’re on the hunt for a mid to senior weight, hands on individual to lead our global online teacher management brand - The Really Great Teacher Company (TRGTC). TRGTC’s head office is located in Hong Kong and the role interacts daily with the management team, which is based in various countries.

Reporting directly into the CEO, the main responsibility of this role is to guide and manage the organisation's brand and marketing across the globe to achieve the agreed key business deliverables (top line and bottom line).  All your activities will be focused on the following areas: 

  1. To attract potential clients 
  2. Retain existing clients 
  3. Develop and retain current team members 
  4. Attract talented employees and contractors

Position Details

Responsibilities: 

Digitally ensure that the TRGTC brand is inspiring, relevant, and vibrant thereby positioning it as the leader in its’ field internationally. This includes building a brand following of the dynamic growth and expansion of the last couple of years and ultimately creating marketing strategies to further increase our local and international client and teacher base.  

  • Guide, originate and implement internal and external communications 
  • Manage all areas of the strategic process (research; insight generation, storytelling, strategic direction) 
  • Plan, execute and report on all digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media
  • Review, improve and maintain our social media presence across all digital channels
  • Determine and track ROI and KPIs 
  • Ensure the ongoing personal and professional development of the brand and marketing team 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology by evaluating emerging technologies and providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption; and best practices in brand, marketing, communications and advertising as well as in our client’s industry 

Minimum Qualifications

Experience Required:  

  • Relevant Degree and qualifications 
  • 5+ years in a Strategy and/or Brand Management role (ideally digitally focused on international markets) at an agency or in a marketing department 
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in leading and managing contractors/subordinates 
  • Integrated advertising experience, including strong copywriting skills  and digital channel management (social media, mailers etc.)
  • Track record of both Brand Strategy and Integrated Communication solutions demonstrating the ability to uncover and execute powerful insights 
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and optimizing ad and marketing campaigns across major digital and social media platforms
