Online Maths and English Teacher (Kids Students)

• Subjects: Mathematics and Conversational English & Exam Preparation
• Students: Work with motivated young learners aged 6–18 years, based in Ukraine, in small group settings
• Class Size: 5–8 students for Maths | 7–12 students for English
• Class Duration: 55-minute sessions
• Teaching Platform: Zoom
• Schedule:
  • Maths: Courses run 2 days per week (Mon & Wed or Tue & Thu) for 34 lessons per course. Classes are scheduled between 16:00–20:00 GMT+3 / 15:00–19:00 SAST. Teachers may take on more than one course. (Note: Schedule may shift to Mon–Sun from September 2026)
  • English: 5 days per week, including one weekend day.
• Rate: $7.00 USD per hour (Maths) | $6.50 USD per hour (English)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Maths and English lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
• Teach conversational English and support students with exam preparation
• Foster a positive, patient, and energetic classroom environment
• Provide constructive feedback to support each student's progress
• Use existing lesson materials effectively

• National Diploma in any field (minimum)
• 120-hour TEFL or equivalent
• Maths: Minimum 6–12 months of Maths teaching or tutoring experience; knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum is essential
• English: Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience
• Patient, friendly, and energetic — you'll be working with children and teenagers
• Strong communication, adaptability, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to teach both Maths and English is a strong advantage

• PC specifications: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater, 8GB RAM or greater
• Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of 4-5 hours (2000VA)
• Internet connection: Stable fiber connection, minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speeds
• Accessories: Noise-cancelling headsets, HD web camera, and a tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment

The Really Great Teacher Company is hiring remote Maths and English teachers to deliver live online lessons to students aged 6–18 years based in Ukraine, via Zoom. Maths teachers earn $7.00 USD per hour teaching small groups of 5–8 students, while English teachers earn $6.50 per hour in groups of 7–12. Both roles are structured around 55-minute sessions and require a National Diploma, Cambridge curriculum knowledge, and a minimum of 6–12 months (Maths) or 2 years (English) of relevant teaching experience. Teachers must have fibre internet with a LAN cable, a backup power solution, and a PC meeting minimum spec requirements. Existing lesson materials are used for all classes. This is a remote, independent contractor position ideal for patient, energetic educators who enjoy working with children and teenagers.
